The Mobri radar reflector represents a significant improvement in passive radar reflectors. The design offers many advantage foremost being a very large radar cross section as well as minimal wind noise, light weight, and less chance of chafe to the sails and rigging.
Mobri radar reflectors are available in 5 sizes covering coastal and off-shore passage for sail boats and power boats.
The Mobri models S-2 and S-4 are designed to be mounted in the rigging of sailboats - ideally in the shrouds or back stay as high as possible above the deck and away from the shadow of the mast.
And Mobri models M-2, M-3, and M-4 are most suitable for use on power boats - again, mounting in a vertical position as high as possible over the deck away from the shadow of other equipment.

The mobri S-2 is designed to be mounted in the rigging of sailboats. The best performance is achieved when the mobri radar reflector is mounted in a vertical position as high as possible above the deck, a minimum of 4 mtr./13 ft. is recommended. It should be mounted in the shrouds away from the "shadow" of the mast. Mounting eyes are molded in the structure at top and bottom. Durable lashing materials should be used to attach it to the standing rigging.
